Architect and designer Mario Trimarki when created La Stanza Dello Scirocco collection used to be inspired by the standard “sirocco” rooms of wealthy Sicilian homes. These small rooms without windows are designed to shelter in case of a strong wind of the Mediterranean. Noise of mighty wind gusts, philosophical reflection on life and the play of shadows at the wall – that is the ambience of the rooms wherein persons are forced to spend a very long time of inaction.
