This clock depicts a firework squib after explosion because it exposes its sparkling colors at the dark sky. The dial itself consists of 4 x 20 wood pieces (=’flames’) that stick in between each and every other like pieces of marquetry.
– Raw subject matter: all elements are made from 6mm birch plywood.
– Manufacturing process: the central disk and the ‘flames’ are laser cut from the plywood board, after sprucing the weather are hand painted with 5 different sunglasses of copper via gold after which distributed frivolously and clamped manually in between the 2 neighbouring elements. Owing to the manual clamping process none of those clocks are similar.
– The movement: is silent (non-ticking), second hand sweeps around. It runs with 1pc. AA sort 1.5V battery (now not included within the package). Usual hands are metal in black.
